Channelling the earthy, primal and spiritual in music, Jo Quail presents two three-song cycles in the form of a double album, ‘Invocation’ and ‘Supplication’. The acclaimed, award-winning composer and cellist composed the two pieces with the artists Maria Franz (Heilung) and Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari in mind and their breath-taking voices are a key element on the respective EP’s. Franz taking the centre stage on ‘Invocation’ and Fornasari on ‘Supplication’. Dare to take on Quail’s wild, boundless soundscapes, enriched by two of the most powerful voices in contemporary music.
‘Invocation’ & ‘Supplication’ limited vinyl edition comes as a deluxe Orange Crush w/ black marble and Sea Blue w/ Black marble 12” vinyls, gathered in a slipcase with varnish and matt effect; and an insert.

Internationally acclaimed composer and virtuoso cellist from London Jo Quail new studio album “The Cartographer” on CD Digipack!
“The Cartographer” is a piece commissioned by the renown Roadburn Festival, who will host its premiere performance in April 2022 at the 013 venue in Tilburg, the Netherlands. The project, initially planned for 2020, explores the space where classical instrumentation and contemporary heavy music intersect: how classical music has a heaviness of its own, and how these elements can be brought into contemporary heavy genres.
